Managed Products

Manage products is a range of devices curated by Compare and Recycle, covering the entire scope of our comparison. From our busiest, high value deivces - to our broader range. All products have the correct name and capacity variations to ensure compatibility. If you think a product is missing then please contact our support team.

Adding new products

New products can be imported from our list of managed products as well as manually created.

First go to the 'Products' tab and click 'Add Product'. You will be presented with a list of our managed products but you can create your own by just clicking 'Create New Product'. A sidebar will show with the following options.

Name The product name. Please note this should not include any manufacturer names or capacities as these will be automatically handed.

Manufacturer This will be a list of currently enabled manufacturers. Please make sure you have added the correct manufacturers.

Product Type A list of common types. We can add additional types if you reach out to support.

Image You can upload a product image which will be use on the product page. Individual images for each variation are supported but you will need to reach out to support to get them added.

Linking an Existing Product to a Managed Product

In some cases, you may want to link a product you've created in your admin area to a managed product. Follow these steps to do so:

1. Navigate to the Product Page: Go to the specific product page you wish to link.
2. Select the Link Managed Product Button: Click the Link Managed Product button located in the top right corner. This action will open a modal window.
3. Search for the Managed Product: In the modal, use the search box to find the managed product you wish to link to. Select the appropriate product from the dropdown list and click save.
4. Complete the Linking Process: Once selected, your product will be linked to the managed product. This ensures that it will automatically connect to a Compare and Recycle product listing without the need for manual merging.

Changing which networks/manufacturers are active

Go to the Settings tab. Click Networks or Manufacturers where you will be able to select and deselect the networks/manufacturers active on your website.

All edits made here will change both the networks/manufacturers visible in the Edit Pricing dialog. It will not remove any prices currently set for networks/manufacturers. To remove a networks/manufacturers and all its pricing please contact support.

Our supported carriers

Please find below a list of all Compare and Recycle's supported network carriers. All products must be listed as one of the following carriers. If you would like to a network not featured on the list below, please do so as 'other'; or contact our support team to discuss it's addition.

Network names are case sensitive, and must match the slugs as listed below.
